Today, let’s introduce Francisca, who is part of the Susi Cala team. Her role in the company is to make jewels in the workshop.
Age: 29 years old
Hobbies: Playing the guitar, taking care of plants, seeing friends and going to the beach.
Countries: ‘I was born in Chile but I moved to Spain when I was 10, so I have spent most of my life here.’
Arrival at the company: September 2022
For you, what does the Susi Cala brand represent?
‘For me, Susi Cala represents a minimalist and simple jewelry brand for everyday wear.’
If you had to choose one jewel from the brand, which one would it be? And why?
‘I love Camu rings. What I like most about those pieces is the process into making them.’

What are the things that make you happy?
‘What makes me happy in life is enjoying all the little and simple things of my day-to-day life. Just appreciating every little moment, like sunny days, taking a coffee or being with my friends.’
What is the perfect song for you when you work?
‘I would say ‘Viva la Vida’ from Coldplay, or any other songs from this group!’
How is your daily life at Susi Cala?
‘We start the day by organizing ourselves, with Justine, Susi Cala’s right hand, who gives us the different orders and jewels that have to be made. Then, we go over the pieces, we shape them… Everyday is different and what we do depends on the orders received, somedays we are working mainly on necklaces, others on rings etc.. ‘
Where do you see yourself in five years?
‘Well, I hope to still making jewelry in five years! I want to continue to learn, to improve and to get better at making jewels.’
